Dear Friend of Freedom Alliance,
Your support today is absolutely critical to ensure our injured troops get the care they desperately need.
Because of the growing number of wounded combat heroes needing our help, some loyal friends of Freedom Alliance have issued a $50,000 Matching Gift Challenge.
These generous friends told me that if we can raise $50,000 for wounded troops by October 5th, they will match that amount with another $50,000!
This means we could put a total of $100,000 to work right away providing urgently-needed care and support for our wounded heroes and their families — but only if we meet this Matching Gift Challenge in time.
My friend, meeting this Matching Gift Challenge by October 5th will mean so much to the brave service members, wounded troops, and military families you help us serve every day.
Yes, Tom! I realize my gift will be matched dollar for dollar up to $50,000 — and meeting this challenge will put a total of $100,000 to work right away providing urgently-needed care and support to our wounded heroes and military families. To make sure you receive my gift before the October 5th deadline date, I am rushing you my tax-deductible contribution of:
That’s why I’m urging you to respond right now so we don’t miss our deadline and lose out on this opportunity to save a life on the home front.
This opportunity to raise an additional $100,000 for the troops comes as the demand for the unique care and compassion that only Freedom Alliance can provide is skyrocketing.
Just recently, a Twitter post from the U.S. Army asked soldiers how serving has impacted them. More than 10,000 veterans responded within 72 hours. And the responses were heartbreaking — with troops discussing their challenges with mental health, Post-Traumatic Stress, and even suicide.
That tells you how much our nation’s heroes desperately need the life-transforming programs your support makes possible.
Keep in mind, we still have combat troops fighting terrorists in the ongoing war in Afghanistan. We still have troops in hospitals who can’t walk and who can’t sleep, relax, or go out in public because of Post-Traumatic Stress. They struggle to hold a job, are working to keep their marriages together, and are fighting dangerous temptations. They need our help.
Our troops are fighting overseas, and wounded troops are fighting to stay alive right here at home.
Your generous gift in response to this Matching Gift Challenge will:
Applications for these critical services are stacked up. Requests have been filed. We can tell our troops, “Yes, we’ll help!” or we can turn them away ...
Remember, any donation you rush back today will go twice as far in caring for our wounded heroes and supporting military families. Please be as generous as you possibly can.
Thank you!
Gratefully,
Tom Kilgannon
President
