American troops fighting overseas

need your prayers.

Prayer for Our Troops & Veterans

Lord God, Almighty Father, I am ever mindful of the cost paid for the liberty we enjoy. I ask your blessing to protect the members of our Armed Forces and to comfort our injured veterans. Amen.

Dear Fellow Patriot,

Will you pray for America’s troops today?

The power of prayer is a force greater than any enemy combatant. God works to touch the lives of those you pray for in powerful and profound ways that you and I can only try to imagine.

As a Marine who served in Vietnam, I know the hell of war all too well. I’ve seen the evil American troops have had to face. But I’ve also witnessed how the power of Divine intervention can form, and save, men’s lives.

Prayers from patriots like you on the home front have the power to lift the spirits and morale of troops serving on the front lines. And your prayers can comfort war veterans who returned home haunted by what they saw overseas.

That’s why I’m hoping you will sign the Prayer for Our Troops & Veterans form above.

Your prayers will be shared with someone like Todd, a U.S. Marine Sergeant. This American hero lost both of his legs in a roadside bomb attack during his third deployment to Afghanistan.

You probably can guess that this warrior suffers incredible discomforts from his grievous wounds. And you’d be right. Todd endured many major surgeries. He copes with immense physical pain even today.

But Todd will be the first to tell you that the mental anguish and emotional wounds he carries with him from his time in Afghanistan are even worse.

Todd often questions why God why would allow him to lose his legs. At the same time, he feels a level of guilt that’s almost unbearable — because he made it back home alive while many of his buddies died.

These are the kinds of difficult questions that often torment injured veterans like Todd. If veterans never come to terms with these questions, their lives can end up in a dark, downward spiral.

Your signed prayer card will be delivered to a wounded hero, like Todd, letting him know you care about him and that God is with him. This will lift his spirits and encourage him to live with dignity and purpose. And, most of all, to live knowing that a loving God has a plan for his life — even with all the suffering he’s endured.

Sending these prayer cards is just one of the ways patriots like you care for injured veterans, active-duty troops, and military families through Freedom Alliance.

I founded Freedom Alliance more than 30 years ago to give Americans like you a way to provide critical aid to our troops in their times of need. Since then, we’ve become one of the nation’s leading organizations honoring and serving the needs of those who’ve worn the uniform and sacrificed so much for our liberty.

When caring friends like you donate to Freedom Alliance, you provide life-changing support to America’s military heroes they can’t find anywhere else. Right now, requests from troops who need our help are coming in from all over the country.

Won’t you help them?

Our troops carry the heaviest burden in the fight to defend our God-given freedom. They confront evil on the battlefield — and put their lives on the line. After combat, they are forced to confront emotional and moral injuries.

You and I can’t let these injured warriors walk their road to recovery alone. Your generous support today will help them receive the counseling and medical support they urgently need.

That’s why I’m praying you will rush a generous, tax-deductible gift of $50, $100, $250, $500, or even $1,000 or more to provide urgently needed support for our troops and injured veterans — like customized all-terrain wheelchairs for amputees, financial support for medical bills, and more.

With so many service members needing your help, I pray I’ll receive your response soon.
