As you know, our combat troops are still serving in harm’s way in hot spots around the globe. Two U.S. Navy SEALs recently lost their lives in the Arabian Sea.

Special Warfare Operator 1st Class Christopher J. Chambers and Special Warfare Operator 2nd Class Nathan Gage Ingram were conducting a night-time seizure of a vessel that was illegally transporting advanced lethal aid from Iran to resupply Houthi forces in Yemen.

“Chris and Gage epitomize Naval Special Warfare’s core values: integrity, courage, and selflessness,” said Capt. Blake L. Chaney, Commander, Naval Special Warfare Group 1. “Our solemn duty is to pay tribute to their unwavering sacrifice, service, and dedication to duty.”

The tragic loss of these two heroes reminds us that American men and women in uniform are still paying the ultimate sacrifice. Our troops face danger every day in the Middle East, the South China Sea, Korea, and other places.
