I can’t overstate how important our rehabilitation and recovery programs are to America’s warriors. Our programs give heroes like young Isaac, a Marine who recently retired due to injuries, a new lease on life. 

While serving in Afghanistan, Isaac suffered a serious brain injury and was later diagnosed with Post-Traumatic Stress.

To help Isaac reconnect with nature — and himself — we arranged for him to join some of his fellow Marines on a weekend-long therapeutic hunting trip in North Carolina. Isaac told us:

“I’ve been in counseling for years, attended programs to help veterans adjust to civilian life and living outside a combat zone, but nothing compares to last weekend … This weekend has given me an outlet to finally cope with life as a combat vet!”

My friend, as we speak, many more military heroes like Isaac are waiting for life-changing programs and services from Freedom Alliance.

I dread having to tell these brave souls the support they’re counting on this summer has been canceled. I’m sure you feel the same way ...
