Our troops face so many challenges — and many of our veterans suffer from the (often invisible) wounds of war. When our veterans have nowhere else to turn, your donations help provide the best possible care to our nation’s warriors and their families, and show them they will never be forgotten.

With your support, Freedom Alliance changes the lives of those who’ve fought for our freedom, soldiers like retired U.S. Army Sergeant Thomas Shepard, who served our country for 10 years.

While on patrol in Iraq, Thomas stepped on an IED resulting in the loss of his left leg. He also suffered major tissue damage to his right leg, a TBI, partial amputation of his right index finger, and burns to his body.

Thomas’ injuries prevented him from participating in his favorite pastimes, including hunting, fishing, and enjoying nature, but your previous support came to the rescue! With your help, we recently awarded Thomas a customized, all-terrain wheelchair.

And now, with Christmas coming up, injured service members who are struggling financially also need your support.
