Dear Friend of Freedom Alliance,

Our Freedom Alliance scholarship recipients are college students who are the sons and daughters of military heroes.

And now, many of them are heroes too ... because they’re on the front lines of what President Trump is calling a war.

I agree with the President — the coronavirus pandemic is waging war on American citizens ... and many of our scholarship students, whom you have supported, are on the front lines. They are following the example set by their fathers and mothers who previously fought America’s enemies.

Your support has helped Freedom Alliance educate and train today’s frontline heroes ... and honor the military sacrifice of their parents.

Right now, many of the young men and women that you helped are fighting for our country in emergency rooms, hospital wards, police units, and other public safety careers.

That’s why I’m hoping you will take a moment today to send a personal message to one of these heroes on the front lines of fighting the coronavirus pandemic. Share your encouragement and support for everything they’re doing to keep us safe and healthy.

Freedom Alliance will share your message with these frontline heroes.

I’m talking about frontline heroes who are previous Freedom Alliance scholarship recipients like:

  • Dr. Chris Mondie. He practices in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Newark Beth Israel Hospital in New Jersey. Dr. Mondie told us his hospital has adopted aggressive triage policies and is isolating cases to a designated area to minimize exposure to other patients.

“We have an amazing team of selfless healthcare workers who are working tirelessly to care for patients and ensure the safety of the public,” said Dr. Mondie. We count him among those amazing and selfless healthcare workers!

  • Kira Eimiller is also a recipient of a Freedom Alliance scholarship who is currently serving on the front lines in the fight against coronavirus as a doctor at Sisters of Charity Hospital in Buffalo, New York. Her sister is also a doctor! Their father is a U.S. Marine.

Dr. Chris Mondie is working around the clock to fight the coronavirus.

Officer Niccolas Dorlouis is currently on scholarship with Freedom Alliance. Every day, he ensures the public is safe during this chaotic time.

He graduated from the Texas Police Academy and is a senior at the University of North Texas. He will complete his Criminal Justice degree in December. His father, Army SGT Jonathan Shields, was killed when he was struck by a tank in Fallujah, Iraq, in 2004.

“As a law enforcement officer, it is my mission to protect life, property, and individual rights,” Officer Dorlouis told us. “My mission has not changed during this unprecedented global event.”

Scholarship Ambassador Brandi Anderson is working to stop the spread of diseases that would make the coronavirus outbreak even worse.

  • Brandi Anderson is our most recent Scholarship Ambassador. She’s a graduate of Stetson University with a degree in Public Management.

During the coronavirus outbreak, Brandi is reporting to her job every day because she has been deemed an essential worker by the Volusia County government in the state of Florida. She prevents the spread of other viruses, especially any mosquito-borne virus or illness which would further complicate this pandemic. Brandi is serving her community just as her father served our country. Her father, PO2C Michael Anderson, was a Navy Seabee who lost his life in Iraq in 2004.

My friend, your support does so much to help our troops and their families when they need us. But your investment in our important mission also helps to build a stronger nation.

That’s why, in addition to sending back your signed My Support for America’s Heroes note to a frontline hero, I hope you’ll also rush back a generous tax-deductible donation if you’re able.

Our fellow Americans — military heroes — need us now more than ever! Hundreds of veterans have called us seeking help. These heroes  are suffering even more because of the coronavirus pandemic.

And we CAN’T turn our backs on them — EVEN during a global pandemic!

I understand this is a rough time for many.  But please know you and your family are in our daily prayers here at Freedom Alliance.

And if you’re able to help America’s heroes once again in their time of need, please send your most generous gift right away ... especially when, for a limited time, any donation you send will be matched dollar for dollar and DOUBLED in value!

To celebrate 30 years of Freedom Alliance healing the wounds of war, a special benefactor — with a deep desire to help those who serve in America’s military — has issued a 30th Anniversary $300,000 Matching Gift Challenge. That means every dollar you donate will be MATCHED and DOUBLED in value up to $300,000 for a limited time, putting $600,000 toward our critical efforts.

Your generous gift of $35 will be worth $70 … your gift of $50 will do the work of $100 … and your remarkable donation of $100 will be matched to make your gift worth $200 in our work caring for wounded heroes who have no other place to turn.

And on top of that, President Trump wants you to contribute. President Trump understands and appreciates how vital nonprofit organizations like Freedom Alliance are. He values our work and the work of so many great charitable organizations.

That’s why he has made it easier for you to make a charitable contribution to Freedom Alliance or a similar organization. The CARES Act just signed into law by the President, makes any gift you send today up to $300 eligible for a new “above the line” tax deduction. That’s true for EVERY American taxpayer — even if you don’t itemize your taxes.

Bottom line: America’s heroes urgently need your support, and President Trump has made it easier for you to help them in this time of emergency.

Please send your My Support for America’s Heroes personal message to a hero who is fighting against the coronavirus and share your encouragement and support for those on the frontlines during this national emergency.

And please, if you are so blessed in this challenging time, let our military heroes know you haven’t forgotten their sacrifices to keep us safe and free by rushing back your generous gift to continue providing the care and support they desperately need.

Thank you, and may God keep you and your family safe and healthy.

Gratefully.,
Tom Kilgannon
